Amazing views

This campground has spectacular 180 degree view of mountains, including Rocky Mountain National Park and lake Granby. Has hook ups, dump station and access straight to the lake. Clean bathrooms and even has showers too. The views and sunset are worth the stay. We had a trailer site, which was great. Good distance between campsites. Near the bathrooms and killer views. Tent sites seemed tight and not much privacy between them. The only downfall is that you can hear the highway of cars at all times. Would stay here again

Awesome Campground

What a hidden gem of a place! Easy to find, very close to Deadwood, clean showers and bathrooms and it has a bar a grill! Bar and grill was so good and I’m still dreaming about that burger. Has a shuttle to get you into Deadwood if you aren’t able to drive. The campground has such variety of big rig spots, tent spots, pop up spots, and everything in between. Even has dry and wet cabins available for rent. Cute little stream that runs through the campground. Met the owners that are in it together as a family. Highly recommend this place whether you are passing through the black hills or visiting Deadwood. Can’t wait to go back to this place and explore more!

Okay campground

Water is very low, there was a fire ban, no swimming in the reservoir. Water was extremely low, and bathrooms smelt terrible.

However, we had a huge site that could our pop up and two other tents. Recommend staying in the loop not right by the office. Very quiet, and there’s a horse trail right behind the campsites. Stayed on a Sunday and was not even close to being full. Rangers drive by every 30 minutes, it seems. No hammocks on the sites.

Nice campground

Good campground, stayed here for just one night. Right off the highway next to the Dolores River. There are 2 loops, one loop with electric and tent only. It was $24 a nice plus an extra $6 for electric. Camp hosts were nice and friendly. Our site didn’t have any shade and the “drinkable” water was yellow. Bathrooms were very clean. Really nice though, I would stay at again.

Knocked off stars for no clean water, kind of expensive, no shade, you can hear the highway

Great campground!

Great campground, a lot of room between camp sites, bathrooms are clean, the only downfall is the road up. Very bumping, we took our 15ft pop-up and it was fine. They are working on the road so hopefully it’ll be done by end of summer. Great place to camp if you are looking to go to the Dunes for a day.

Dog friendly, drink friendly, great views!
