31/2 miles gravel road good shape
Wrong time of year too come to Baca , snow covered. Able too park , spent one nite. Saw one other camper maybe two hundred yards away. Very quite. I’ll be back when the weather warms up for sure.
RV area is old and not really kept up, a lot of trucks park here and stay at the motel. Close to the railroad tracks south bound train just track noise , the north bound start blowing their horn I think a mile south of town and don’t quit until they are a mile north of town. The lady that manages the park is very friendly and helpful. Can’t say enough good about her.
This park is amazing. Amazing. It’s great and every way weather friendliness of the staff the friendliness of the campers the Rvers really was impressed. I wish I could spend a month there but I’ve got to move on.
Came to enjoy the stars, clear skies and of course bright full moon! Ha hardly could see any stars , but was still very enjoyable to set and look at the sky.!
Very quite and restful. Even though the bicycle race and the cross-country race was going on at this time, but here, at Mesquite site at the end of the trail of the road, it’s very quiet !
I stopped in on the 23rd of September, 92 degrees some wind, lady at check in extremely friendly and helpful. Sites are spaced about 100 ft apart, lots of privacy. Very good place to spend a few days. BUT, lights out at night, bugs by the millions. I didn’t fish but a few were, didn’t see much results , too hot! Grounds are very clean and well kept, a Ranger lives on sight. Play ground for the kids.
Good place to speaks the day and night, $12 for out of state $6 for local. My advice park closer to the lake , less road noise.
I arrived at 4pm 2 other trailers were here and hooked up but no one was here . Very quiet. They have 20,30and 50 electric hook ups . Dump and flush water.b6
