Rocky Gap has a large number of water activities available (boating, fishing, swimming) and two beaches. There are approximately 35 miles of mountain biking/hiking trails around the lake and on the surrounding hills.
If camping is not to the liking of everyone in your party there is a golf course and casino on one side of the lake. Something for a lot of tastes.
Only down side is that even on a Tuesday the camp and beaches were quite busy, so a little on the noisy side.
Small clean campground on the CO Canal with vault toilets. Easy water access with a small boat ramp. A number of kayakers, canoes, and paddle boarders made use. Also a number of people fishing. At the entrance there is a small convenience store to grab supplies that you may have forgot. Did not go in, but their signs indicated they had a bit of everything.
Well organized camp with sites in in full sun to full shade and everything in between. Grounds had swimming area and multiple boat launch locations on large man made lake.
Quiet site that was family friendly with numerous water activities at your doorstep. Clean level sites.
Basic site along the Potomac River. No showers and just a vault toilet and a few porta-johns.
Boat ramp and easy access to the CO canal trail for easy hiking and biking.
Pros:

- Beautiful creek-side camping spaces
Cons:
- Close to Route 51, so there is a lot of traffic noise
- Close to train tracks, so there were a few trains passing in the night
