Beautiful campground

This is a great campground near the beach and bay. Many sites are right on the water which is beautiful. This campground is kept super clean. They don’t allow alcohol and you have to have a bin to have a fire. There’s a great little store and snack shop where you can rent bins if you don’t have one. It’s great for birdwatching and nature. The raccoons are around, so don’t leave food out. We went in Feb 2019 on a last minute reservation. Otherwise it’s next to impossible to get a site here on the weekends. The bathrooms are old, but clean. Overall, a great Florida campground!

Huge campground

We like this campground because you can rent a golf cart and drive around and explore a ton. We went in Dec 2018 and March 2020. We were the last tent campers they allowed there. Hopefully they are renovating the restrooms. They are truly awful, but we made it work. We love the little beach on the river, the treehouse and the bat house. Our evening entertainment was driving up to the bat house to watch them all come out at sunset. It’s super cool to see. Never made it before sunrise to watch them return. I look forward to them allowing tent campers to return… hopefully they will have done some work on the restrooms.

Beautiful campground

Small, but awesome campground with large campsites. Stayed at campsite 15 in April 2019 and Campsite 13 in July 2020. The bathrooms have just been renovated this year and are nice and clean and well kept. They did not have ice at the Welcome center and told us to drive 5 miles to a dollar store. There is a lodge just up the hill that has plenty of ice and should sell it to campers! Otherwise the campsites are nice and private dug into the side of a hill. We loved hiking around the grounds and the falls are stunning. Highly recommend!

Great campground

We stayed here in Sept 2018 and Sept 2019. Campsite 107 both times. We like that area because it is a quieter part of the campground. Lots of young people, but not too crazy since we went after Labor Day. Bathrooms are clean, sites are shady and big. The float down the Sante Fe river is awesome. The springs are beautiful.
