We stayed at this resort for three nights. We loved the proximity to the park, only 5 miles away. When we visited there was a pretty nasty fire to the South. The air was real smokey and could be the reason the resort wasn't busy. The owner is super nice and helpful. Not all of the facilities were open. This didn't bother us since we are self contained. The resort is spacious and backs up to a creek. During certain times of the year you can fish the creek. There is a Vallero Gas Station/Convenient Store as you first pull into the resort. This was great for picking up drinks/snacks and filling up with fuel. We would stay again.
We stayed five nights at this campground. It is a smaller, family ran campground. There are large pull thru's and back-in sites. They even have a few tent sites. It is right off of Highway 14 and can be noisy, however we didn't have any issues sleeping. The restroom/showers were extremely clean. It seemed they were cleaned several times a day. Each time we would use one, the toilet would be spotless. They do offer WIFI however the connection is hit and miss. This was a nice place to stay that was in between Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. It's about 1.5 hours to Bryce and about 1 hour to Zion with only being a few minutes from Cedar City. We enjoyed the more campground feel vs a large gravel lot that most RV Parks offer. We would definitely stay here again.
This is your typical KOA. Open area with several pull thru's for big rigs. They have a decent little store with drinks, snacks, and novelty items. My daughter (8) loved the playground. We were only there for one night on our way to Utah. It was full and on the high side as far as price. They charge $6/night extra per adult, if you have more than two adults. Children are an extra $5/night. We didn't need to use the restroom, showers, or laundry facilities so I cannot comment on those.
We stayed at this park for two nights. It was well maintained and groomed. The sites are on grass, mainly pull through and had full hook ups. The have a small play structure with swings for the kiddos. Which my daughter enjoyed. It is right off of the highway so you do have traffic noise. This park is super close to Trees of Mystery which we explored for a couple of hours. Overall, we would stay here again.
