Don't let the name fool you

Very nice large state park in between Sedona and Prescotte. Lots to do hike, fish, horseback ride right in the park. Nice polite neighbor, and great bath houses. Not too much shade available. Would stay again just not in June.

Out of this world

Nicely run campgound in Page. Very large, not much shade on the sites. Great camp/souviner shop and easy access to the lake. The views around the lake are weirdly breathtaking. Clean showers you pay per minute to use and decent amount of toilets through campground.

Oasis in the desert

Free pull in spots great for catching some zs while driving through. Beautiful landscaping and nice restrooms. Cowboy camped here on the way to Moab.
