Hidden Campground

We were so lucky to find this campground. All the other campgrounds were full up at the time. It’s very remote, about 3 miles from 101 and on to a gravel road we finally pulled into the camp ground. It’s very small, $10 a night, and is a well looked after campground. Each site had a fire ring and picnic table. The spaces were rather small and I think an RV would have a hard time fitting into the spaces. The bathroom was clean. And there were some hiking trails running along the side of the campground.

Camp site along the way

This campground we happened upon as we had been traveling all day and it was starting to get late. It’s located right off the main road. There are three parts to the camp ground we stayed in the first section. It was clean, well kept. Each site had food boxes, a fire ring, and picnic table. The bathrooms were clean and there were also showers available for an additional charge. They were quarter operated. If you don’t have change you can exchange at the ranger station. The camp host was super friendly and we had a great stay.

Great campsite over Labor Day weekend

We like to play things by ear and never make reservations ahead of time. This campsite was great. We checked in at the village and got to pick from a handful of a available spots. There’s lots of water through out the site and the bathrooms are well maintained. We also like the hiking trail that runs along the back of the campground. The sites are a bit close together but it still feels like there is a decent amount of privacy. Also people tend to speed through the campsites (10 mph is the limit) and there are tons of kids so be mindful of that while visiting. Also most of the paths through the sites are one way. We watched a few cars go against traffic on a very narrow one way road. Luckily everyone was fine and nothing serious happened. But pay attention to signs during your visit.

Quite Little Campground

This campground was perfect for us as we decided to camp before getting to our final destination. We pulled in around 7:30 and there were still plenty of spaces open.

The bathroom were clean not smelly. The camp host has done a great job keeping the place clean and well looked after.

The spaces are big enough to accommodate groups or multiple vehicles. There is even a bicycle group site.

Lucky Timing

We were lucky enough to get a day of reservation for a night in the park. The campsite we got was perfect. Had a spot for our tent a nice campfire area, and a picnic table. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. And the camp host was super friendly and nice.

A Hidden Gem

The Hidden Lake campground is made up of three sections we stayed on Ridge Loop and it was very peaceful. Price was $10 per night. There were lots and lots of bugs so make sure you have bug spray. Each site felt pretty secluded and private. If you are staying in a tent watch out for rocks we had to remove some pretty big ones. Other than that it was a great night.

Hidden Gem of a camping spot

Beautiful wooded area with plenty of camping sites. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table. It does cost $20 per night. And there were quite a few bugs out when we’re there so don’t forget the bug spray!
