Texas State Park with 37 sites. Nestled in a wooden river area with lush vegetation. Several hiking trails that are easy on the joints.
Nice campground with level concrete pads (west side) and grave (east). Bathroom with showers, boat ramp and dump stations each side. There is a hiking trail and boat ramp on west side.
Most of RV sites have full hookups with large concrete pads. There are several pull throughs Boat ramp, playground and peer are within campground. Bathrooms are spotless.
Some sites are big rig friendly but choose wisely.
Very clean and well managed campground just west of Dripping Springs. Sites are level, most are shaded with full hooks. There are some low limbs so I advise caution for big rigs. Campground Wi-Fi is acceptable.
Not sure about the first two reviews on the RV park. For one thing you cannot boat into this park nor is it on a lake. It is located on Highway 67 west of Glen Rose. It's basically a long term full time residential park.
Cleburne SP is one of our go to locations south of the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex. Very nice spring fed lake with lots of hiking trails and fishing spots. Poplar Point Loop has full hookups with some having lake front access. North Creek Loop also has full hookups. Electric and Water only loops are Cedar Grove, Shady Springs and Keyhole.
We walked in to see if there were any sites. The staff was very accommodating and put us right into a site for our Sprinter. At dinner on site as well which was very good and made to order. Nice fire pit inside restaurant.
