Lake Fork Campground is three camper parking lots, a walk to tent area and one huge boat ramp. There are clean flush toilets, but the shower building is not open. There are trees only around a rest room and the little amphitheater. The only time we had connectivity on Verizon was in the early hours before dawn. AT&T was good until about noon. Then it was spotty at best, but got a bit better in the later afternoon. The interior pull through sites are just big enough for big rigs. Those on the lake side get quite windy most afternoons. During the week it is quiet except for some low highway noise. However, on the weekends it gets noisy from the influx of campers. It is easy to get here, but U.S. 50 has some tight curves coming from the east. That could be improved in the future. As of June 2022, there was major construction on it. It is close Mon. - Thurs. except for two time slots around lunch and dinner time. If traffic is too heavy, they will require vehicles to go alternate routes: which will add about 50-75 miles to a trip.
