Great Campground

The spots are a bit narrow, but most spots have full hookups, and there is a short trail down to the beach.

The shower rooms are very clean and there is an excellent breakfast restaurant next door.

The spots around the perimeter of the campground have fire rings. The ones in the center do not.

Decent Campground

There were several nice spots in amongst the trees for tent camping, but for the RV spots, you would want a spot along the beach or next to the bath house. We stayed in the spot named “Amy” next to the bath house. It was flat, but could be difficult to back in to if adjacent spots were full. We will stay in the North Annex next year, a place ran by the same owners.

Small, Secluded Spots

The spaces are very small. I have a 24’ trailer and there were not many spots I would fit. The spots were narrow, and most were perpendicular to the road, making it difficult to back it.

On the up side, the spaces weee very secluded, and the campground was very quiet.

It was nice being so far into the park, but with the road closed at around mile 41, there weren’t many hikes.

Great campground for kids

Campground is nice. Space between campsites varies based on campsite. I stayed in space 42. Seemed to be one of the larger spaces, and very easy to back in. Only down side is it is right next to the water source, so people are next to your space at all hours.

The best part of this campground is the bike park next door. They have stuff for all riding levels.
