This was a one night stop over before we continued on. We were sad to only be there for 12 or so hours. The park is very well kept. The bathroom and shower house was remarkably clean and updated. The park does seem to offer handicap accessible sites and bathroom/shower facilities. The playground was very updated and entertained my 7 year old. The hiking paths looked amazing, but sadly we didn't have time to hike much. We will be planning a trip to go back and fully experience all that they have. A local told us at the gas station the many historical things they have in town, specifically sites that are related to Jesse James.
We stayed here three nights while we explored Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. The sites were spread out nicely with nature in between each one. The bear boxes and bear proof trash dumpsters were great. There was an abundance of mosquitoes. This loop is on the Shoshone River. You can hear the river all day and night. The vault toilets were amazingly cleaner than I expected. There was plenty of toilet paper and they were well maintained. We did have a large bison stop by for a visit, so just be aware.
We stayed two nights here. Many of their sites offered little shade, which was a big downfall given the heat out there. The pool was very refreshing and helped to cool off. The bathrooms were okay. They frequently were backed up. The store had a little bit of everything which was nice. The playground and mini golf was very outdated. We found it odd that our directions sent us through the national park to get to the campsite.
We were there for a group camp out. The site was large and clean. The fire pit was clean and spacious enough for a large fire. The water was nearby. The vault toilets were acceptable. They have a handful of paths to walk. The flush toilets and shower houses are clean throughout the park. It was a great place to have our group camp out.
