Small, quiet, and the best of nature

Lots of trees and hiking paths along the river, etc. Boat, kayak, fish, or just chill at your site. In my opinion, the sits are best for small/mad size campers but there were several big guys in the campground. Bathrooms were clean and lots of hot water. We had site #15.

Perfect for overnight stay!

Minutes off interstate 75. The Very helpful and accommodating staff directed me to a full hookup, pull-thru site. $27

Small campground for mostly smaller campers

Very rustic, woody campground with water and electric hookups. Very quiet and beautiful sites on Barkley Lake. The sunsets were beautiful! I have a 20’ camper trailer which fit in nicely.

Woodsy. Creek close. Nature at its best.

This campground is nature at its best. It is close to the creek where you could put your chair in the water and sit and chill out all day long. Great for kids fishing swimming and just relaxing

Clean. New. Beautiful

This is the third year for this campground so the trees are small but if you have an awning or some kind of shade mechanism, all is good. It is beautiful, the creek is awesome, the lodge is beautiful, and the food is fantastic. Everything is fantastic about this park!

Very clean!

The springs are a beautiful 72°, always, Lots of bicycles on the campground, clean showers, decent size camping lots, Very quiet and relaxing. Not much nearby (probably at least 30 mins to “civilization“ ie, eating out although there are a few local places. Nice shade. Well staffed. Manatees right outside the springs swimming area. Very cool to see these massive marine mammals so close.

Awesomeness !

Gorgeous white sand beaches a short walk from the campground. Clean, great hot showers, level asphalt pads, water and electric, dump station on site. Campground IS dog friendly, although the beach is Not dog friendly. There’s a very small dog beach area (on leash only), a short drive away at Pensacola-west Beach ( clearly marked for dogs).
