Wish I could give 10*’s!!

This place is incredible! We stayed April 22-25th. It had cleared out a lot with snowbirds leaving. It’s a 55+ park. Apparently much busier before April… it was very empty, we had so much room!

There are so many activities!! And a beautiful 9 hole golf course in the middle! We played twice and it was free because they don’t charge after April 15th. Pickle Ball, pools, hot tubs, streets within the park to bike or walk…

You can rent spaces for your RV or they also have small homes to rent.

Prices in April are very reasonable!

The bathrooms and showers were spotless.

We loved it so much, we didn’t want to leave!

Pricey, but nice:)

Great little campground. Not very big, full hookup, laundry, bathrooms okay.

Free bike locks to borrow. Recommend locking bikes up.

Close walk over bridge to beach. We love The Whole Enchilada restaurant you can walk to!

Bikes to beach and it was cold and windy, but nice and clean, big waves, and we saw sealions out playing:)

Right beside KOA are whale watching tours!

Sites are small, but considering the size of the entire campground, they were big enough.

Pricey to stay here.

Small spaces, sketchy area, way overpriced

These spaces were so cramped. Couldn’t put our awning out. The water hookup wasn’t threading properly and leaked, and so did the one beside us.

Very small. The neighbours slide was a foot from our door. This place was $136/night for oceanview. The bathrooms aren’t clean. Rusty doors. Went to check out the pool and hot tub area that looks so nice in their photos and hot tub is covered and not in service. And the pool is a 2/5. Also, they charge for internet! It’s a little deceiving, the package tells you which wifi to choose, you choose it and then prices pop up for plans you can buy. (For $136/night, I’d expect internet to be included)

Looks like many are residents here. The neighbouring lot is very deserted looking, and it just didn’t feel safe. Dark, not well lit.

Nice trail to walk along the water and cliff, nice restoration project going.

If you could find a parking lot to stay in overnight for free, I’d choose that over this place.

Sunset was nice, crashing waves to sleep to were nice, but for the price.. (more than a top 5 luxury Motorcoach resort we stayed at in Vegas), I assumed everything would be a 5* rating.

Loved this place!

First: the bad… it was so windy and cold. Make sure you bring warm clothes!

The good: nice level site, full hookup, picnic table, trees.. (hookup sites don’t have fire pits) Biking/hiking trail was nice:) And can bike and walk around campground! It’s a very big place to explore:) Great disc golf course!! Free to play! The store has camping items, some food (overpriced but that’s expected) , souvenirs, gas… We wanted to get propane when checking out, but nobody in the store knew how to do it, so we were told to come back in 1.5 hours, but we were leaving. It was too windy and cold to fish, which is why we went there:( check the forecast and any wind advisories!! Great restaurant, lots of space to explore. No human contact with the water. Don’t expect to swim.

Loved it!

It’s expensive, but we loved it. Premium ocean view upper level. Great views, full hookups. We had double wide site which was really nice up top.

There’s a store with lots of RV Equipment. Small selection of snacks.

Upper level bathroom needs a little work. Shower stalls only have curtains and the door can’t be locked while in the shower. Anyone (male or female) has the code but no locking stall.

There are complaints on here about the walk to the beach. Those statements are true, but considering you’re in Malibu, on a hillside, and route 1 is between the park and beach, and there are really no other options (unless you’re lucky enough to get booked into a booked solid state park) We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Short Dog walk trail if you have dogs.

We ended up being without power for 2 days, and paid premium price on a weekend. It would’ve been nice if they’d offered us some sort of a discount because we did have to use our propane, but we also understand the issue was out of their control. But even a $10/night discount for the inconvenience would be been nice, when paying $150/night…

Beautiful beach and grounds, site uneven

This campground was great, the walk across to the beach is short. The beach, waves, sand, sunset are magnificent! (It is a steep walk down, and would be hard for anyone with stair/slope difficulties)

Our site was on a hill, so we have to back in between rocks to try to get flat. It was a challenge.

Camp host was nice.

Big trees, grass, good sized sites.

We had zero cell service here. Only reason I took a star away is because of how out of level our site was.

Beautiful views!

Our first experience with our motorhome in an RV park! This place is beautiful. The water views, sunset, and really not many people by us. $32/night with electricity and water.

As newbies to this, the only issue is finding the bathrooms/showers. The map online isn’t very detailed, but went walking and found the central building with washrooms and showers. Very clean!

Walk over to the marina and along the beach to see the red rocks.

We would definitely come back here again!
