I went here in 2020, and camped near little bear river, in the rain. It was peaceful.

sadly, there was some trash left by previous (clearly disrespectful campers) and I hear that this area has been closed down recently due to misuse? Do better people.

I’ve stayed here 2-3 times, and it was a good experience both times. The river has to be my favorite part. There are also vault toilets, which is nice. The last time I was here, someone had reserved a spot, but didn’t show, so we got one free night.

It was a little hard to navigate the dirt road in my 2WD car, but we made it. Very peaceful, when the cows weren’t migrating around our campground. Friend saw a black bear up there a couple years back. We also found a nice hiking trail that lead to a super pretty, little waterfall.
