Sits at about 7600 feet, so a great place to spend a few days acclimating to altitude. Sits in Genesee Park, so there are hiking trails all around. Evergreen is next exit west with all kinds of convenient shopping and dining. Showers are a quarter every two minutes. No change machine nor ATM. Bathroom was always clean and well stocked.

Beautiful setting! Water but no showers. Bring “ skeeter spray”. Ridge loop is FCFS so the QR thing with Rec dot gov doesn’t work. Cash or check only. Highly recommended!
