Beautiful sites but be careful when booking as some sites are very close to others. North campground is about 1/2 mile from downtown Taylor Falls via a bridge. So a quick walk to town is possible. Good ATT and Verizon cell service.
We had plenty of space to spread out and relax. Rented a pontoon and saw Hell's gates worth the stop. Spent most of the time swimming and fishing from shore. This is one of the clearer lakes in Texas.
Electric sites with some shade. There is plenty of wildlife. We saw Turkeys, deer, longhorn in the campground loop. Just outside the loop we saw Buffalo. Only down side was the trash around the site.
RV park has view of bay and mountains. You can rent items to go crabbing or just eat some of their fresh clams, oysters and crab. We did a bit both! Staff is friendly and hard working.
The Staff was helpful grounds is well keep. It's koa, so expect to be more condensed, but they do a great job at this one of providing you an excellent KOA experience.
