This year MG run was held in Hollister Hills due to Clear Creek being closed. My registration came with free camp spot in the Upper Ranch. For an organized trail run I would give it a 5 star as it was very respectful and actually not loud at all including day light hours.

From a dispersed camp/ camp experience I am giving this a 4 star thats because I knew I was not camping here for a camp experience but an off-road experience with many other off-road enthusiast.

Came twice to this place. Two roads to get there both dangerous and listed on dangerousroads.org. Because of that, very few people were up there when we were there the first part of September and the 3rd week of September 2023. 

We choose to dispersed camp both times and it was great. We arrived on a Friday night and then enjoyed the scenery and reservoir all day Saturday. On both occasions we seen anywhere from 4-5 groups of fellow adventurist. Mostly all there to fishing for trout.

Mosquitos are a nuisance so be sure to have your insect repellant/barriers solutions with you.

First Dispersed camp site, arrived at 10pm and had no problem finding a camp site. It’s super dark so arriving early would hand been best. Great experience. Were several others camped out as well. Will stay again.
