Say hi to your neighbor

Nice campground with access to 3 river streams. Bathrooms were clean. Only one shower stall, but hot water. Clean dishwashing station.

Dumpster is by the entrance which is at top of a hill. Generous firewoods for sale at the entrance too.

Quiet away from the crowd

We have stayed here during our exploration around cape cod. It's a but farther away from the main location, but we loved the quiet and tranquility of this campground.

Hot showers available, but the bathroom is not thoroughly cleaned. I use the same shower stall for 3 nights straight and the same soap was stuck on the exact same spot on the wall for 3 nights straight. The floor is old-dirty due to age, but the shower curtains could use a wash or two.

Dumpster is near the dump station, and that's the only one I found. There are 3 dumpsters and we're overfilled for 3 days. Dump station was clean.

Camp store is near the entrance and it is really hilly to get to on a bike, and a bit too far to walk with a bundle of woods.

Campground 2 (the one in the back), has a really nice playground. The bathroom next to it was clogged when I was there.

At least on weekdays when we were there, it was quiet except for a few revving cars at the nearby roads at night. Staff were all very nice and friendly.

Sound of waves to fall asleep

This is RV only campground. No running water. No electricity hookup. No dump station. Only trash and outhouses. Very close to the beach, watch both the sunrise and the sunset at the site. Falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing. No picnic table. No fire ring (open fire not allowed). A lot of campers run their generator, so be prepared to hear/smell them. But quiet hours are very respected.

Short distance to the beach

Nice cozy campsite in a small loop. Relatively clean bathroom. Water stained due to age, but not dirty. Washing station at the bathroom.

Short bike ride to the beach. Can also drive if preferred. Though some cars do go over the speed limit…

You can hear the train in the background, not loud enough to bother you.

Packed but quiet

We stayed at loop A45 drive thru site, but the picnic table and firering were on the left side (our RV has door on the right). It made the whole site setup a bit awkward, but we managed. Tight site but enough space to sit around the fire and enjoy the weather. Surprisingly, we had 3/4 bars on TMobile phones. No service for Verizon. Clean bathroom. Nearby water source and dumpster.

Nice big sites

Very clean bathroom and dish wash station. Free bus ride around the loop and to the schoondic point. One dump station for the whole campground and can get crowded near checkout time.

Hike and water

Great campground well hidden between the river and the boulder loop trail. Perfect place to hike, relax by the water, then into a comfy compground.

Very spotty Verizon cell coverage and no TMobile service at all. Better coverage for both carriers near the top of the boulder loop trail.

Water access is via a hand pump in the middle of the campground loop. No car access and can't hook up any hoses. Toilets (no water) and trash dumpsters throughout.

Covered bridge has 7.9' height restriction from the main scenic highway. We had to go out to Conway and drive back in.

Large site secluded by trees

This is a beautiful campground. Bathrooms are nicely kept. Camp sites are huge and surrounded by trees. The water faucet is all over the loop, but you can't connect a hose. No dump station for the RVs either. There's a Mobile gas station in Lincoln for $10-$20 for dump.

Farm experience.. sort of

My kids had a blast biking around the farm, visiting farm animals, and watching the ocean. Never got tired of biking around. Mostly flat, but the dirt road had a lot of potholes. Farm store has milk, variety of flavors, and the farm cafe had some nice quick bites.

The quiet side of Acadia

This campground is fairly new. Sites are spacious and good distance apart from neighbors. Trash, dishwashing, and clean toilet. Campground does not have any showers. One dump station for the whole campground in loop B. Slightly graded site for the RV.
