Great if you want to be in the park

This is a typical desert campsite with nicely shaded picnic tables, running water, and showers. It is great if you want to see the goblins early or late. If you camp outside the park you might not be able to see the formations under the stars. Expect it to be hot and dusty. The camp is right up against the bluffs so the kids can be entertained, albeit they'll get dirty.

There are dry and dusty dispersed BLM camps nearby if you don't feel like you need to support preserving the unique geological features of the park with your fee dollars.

Surpisingly good

Stopped here for a night and a bit of hiking. Found the camp to be well kept up and beautiful. The facilities were great, the showers were surprisingly fancy. The camp was quiet and sites were well spaced. Some site are in the foliage with more shade, and unfortunately more bugs (but not too many). Some sites have better views than others but most looked good. Some short hikes are just outside of the campground if you need to stretch your legs once the desert air starts to cool down.

Typical National Park Campground

Not within eyesight of the main attraction of Bryce, but is hiking distance. Overall spacious for a major national park and well maintained. Close enough to the viewpoints that a quick drive for sunset/sunrise is a breeze.

Great for a couple of nights.

Nice facilities and clean. Picturesque and on top of a heavily wooded ridge. Some of the sites are more open and give a great view. Pike's Peak dominates the skyline to the east. Walk in sites are quieter with less light pollution from RV porches, I don't know why some campers are lit up like xmas. A bit pricey as the camp fee does not include the park fee.

Great for a Night

Stayed here on two separate trips. It is convenient for the south rim view points. Most of the outer sites are tucked into the forest so there is a decent level of privacy. Lots of deer frequent the area, we saw several on each trip. They like to bring the fawns to the portion of the park. A nice hiking trail to the canyon is at the edge of the camp which is great for evening walks. As of 2020 toilets are not flushing like other national parks, but decent for pits.

Not worth the drive

This camp is 6 miles off the highway along a path that is better described as a loose pile of stones than a dirtroad. The camp itself is not really set up for tents and needs some maintenance. It was buggy, but that might have been the time of year. Much more crowded than expected, entirely rvs and truck campers. The views were disappointing given that there are much more spectacular views only a few miles away. It was near the river though.
