We stayed here to attend the Florida RV Supershow and it was perfect. Less than a half hour to the fairgrounds. Peaceful campground with nice size sites. We were in site 51A (pull through) for 2 nights and site 42 for 2 nights. Both were level and shaded. Bathhouse was nice. We really enjoyed the trails.
The management and staff were very nice, and they are making improvements to the campground. Definately a hideaway….nice boardwalk to the river. Good luck finding a level site. The sewer was higher than the outlet on our camper, so it ran uphill. Our site was mostly sand and no shade. The bathhouse was nice, but way in the back of the campground, with no pathway to it. We had to either walk between other campers or walk all the way around the campground to use the bathhouse. The fire bowl was too deep to be able to enjoy a fire, and it was closer to the next site than our own. The neighbor's fire bowl was too close to their RV so they couldn'teven use it.
Just what we needed for a place to park overnight. Large level pull-throughs. Clean bathrooms. Reasonable rates. Only downside - very close to the interstate noise, but we slept fine.
