The best beach around, crystal clear, shallow water was perfect for our young kids to play in. Nice trails, can be challenging. Saturday got a bit too crowded, but otherwise it was a great stay.
Lots of open space for our kids to play and a beautiful lake view and beach with lots of lake shells and birds to see. Friendly and helpful hosts as well.
Lazy Days is quite a bit run down. The playground was cleaned up but the mini golf course is gross. Super crowded layout, luckily we were placed back farther on the property. We live just a half hour away, so it was a good spot to camp and go to the Washington County Fair and Shalom Wildlife Zoo.
We love camping and spending time at Peninsula State Park. The newly built lookout tower is amazing!
We stayed last year in Governor Dodge and we loved hiking, especially to Stephens’ Falls!
We camped at Mirror Lake in 2019 and it was a beautiful place to explore and bike. Their playgrounds are fun for little ones and they had a great nature program that year.
We stayed here last summer and had the biggest site we’ve ever had in all our camping trips. Had an owl friend spend two days with us in a tree! Beautiful sites and the paved roads are great for biking!
We stayed here last summer and it’s a great place to explore the region near the Mississippi River. Lots of amazing views, interactive signs and information that was perfect for our 4 year old. Close to the river and the town which was beautiful also!
We have stayed here twice and plan to return again this year. Owners are amazing and accommodating. The park has open areas and more secluded areas as well. We visited during Covid and everything was handled wonderfully. It’s a great spot to park and easily explore all of Door County.
We visited in 2018 and the views are breathtaking! The sand caves are cool, lots of unique hiking features. The nature program was great for our son who was 2 at the time.
We visited Fawn Lake in 2019 as our first trip with our new RV. Friendly owners, quiet spaces and beautiful wildlife!
