Upper Pines - Yosemite

probably the most crowded campgrounds i've ever been to. felt more like an refugee camp as i could literally hear full on conversations from my neighbors. only upside is you are in yosemite valley. bring a bike, you can thank me later.

Donner Memorial - Lake Tahoe

great campsite relatively close to lake tahoe. i would definitely recommend this as an alternative if you are unable to get a campsite in tahoe as those book up quickly. fortunately or unfortunately you are very close to a small town, so you can drop in for food and drinks.

Kalaloch - site F002 + A069

absolutely amazing campground, you will feel like you're in narnia! Definitely book this campsite early so you can get a beachside site. you will literally have an oceanview as your background for your stay.

HOH campground - site C46

one of the best campgrounds i've ever stayed in. loop C has some of the best sites along the HOH river. you have views of the forest, mountains and river with NO OBSTRUCTION. definitely 5 star views, you can't beat it. this is a first come first serve campgrounds. i came july 4th weekend and was still able to snag what i thought was the best campsite there. just be sure to arrive before noon to get a decent spot.
