Quietside campground's worst feature is it is about a half hour to the major areas of Acadia National Park. Other then that the campground is a very nice, basic campground. There are two bath house with hot water and showers and flushing toilets. In addition, there are a couple port-a-pots. The sites are pretty private. We have stayed several times, for tent sites 30, 29, 25, and 26 are probably your best bets. There is a common room with an old pool table, some chairs, and WiFi. Campwood and ice are reasonably priced. The owner is super nice and helpful. We will stay here again for sure, but if this is your only visit to Acadia you may want to stay on the other side of the island to have easier access to the park bus system.
