The campground is across the LittleMo river and has amazing views. Direct access to the Maah Daah Hey trail for hiking riding or biking. A great hike amid the cattle. 3 loops to camp, livestock accessible, but no electric and a pump for water. A variety of back In and pull thru sites. Dump station and water at the National Park across the river. There were only 6 sites with campers so private and peaceful! Highly recommend this gem!
This park was clean and would work well if attending the adjacent fair. Right on a main road. We passed on staying as it had little character or appeal for a 2 night stay and at $35 a night electric only, a $5 dollar dump fee and no potable water was not worth the cost. Separate RV and tenting area.
The residents of Michigan are incredibly welcoming. The Duffers Golf Club next to campground is inexpensive, unique and even has clubs available for free use! The members were having a tournament and invited us to join them after our round for an amazing steak dinner and conversation. We just stopped on our way west and can’t say enough about the hospitality. The campground is clean, has 4 electric spots and was the busiest it has ever been with 9 campers, 2 tents, 2 camper vans, 4 motor homes or buses and our travel trailer. There is a fire pit, horseshoes and a playground around the corner. We will be back our next trip west on Hwy 2.
