Nice campground with yurts, trails, an amphitheater, playground, and a nice, clean bathroom. It has outdoor sinks by the bathroom for doing dishes and plenty of tent sites. The day use area across the street has a nice little creek also! Sites aren’t very private but they’re nice and flat. Ada camping was all paved
Pull offs large enough for rvs & tents. It can get super dusty with folks driving back and forth depending on the season, but it is really convenient to Newberry Volcanic Monument. Not a super great place to camp, but it’s free & in a good location.
Large, clean sites right by the river with fire pits. Not heavily wooded, so there isn’t much privacy. Wouldn’t recommend the lower loop for large RVs (the turns are tight!) Firewood available for sale on site. Vault toilets
Beautiful campground nestled in old growth forests right on the river. Flush & vault bathrooms. Some of the campsites are very close to each other but others are spaced really far apart (1 is amazing!) Amphitheater, boat ramp, & trails on site
Some sites are very small and close together, others are large and more wooded. Some are right on the water also. Vault toilet and boat ramp
Free dispersed roadside camping beside the reservoir. There’s some nice sites off blue river reservoir road and across the dam. Nice lake and a vault toilet with a dumpster in the day use section. Nice basic free spot!
Large, spacious tent sites with fire rings & tons of trees. The hosts are great and deliver firewood to your site. The showers are HOT and have great water pressure. Dumpsters & a recycle bin near the bathrooms. There is a road near some of the campsites but I didn’t mind the road noise. I was able to show up and get one of the 6 camp sites for 2 nights without reservations. There are a ton of mosquitos - bring bug spray!
Pretty campground surrounded by large, old trees. Sites are small and close together, so limited privacy. I was able to show up and get a site for the night no problem. The roads are very narrow, so it might be difficult for large rvs to park. Close to the beach & perfect for tidepooling!
Easy to find / get to. Large spots with picnic tables and coverings. Dirt road in and large spaces once you get there. Big enough for RVs. When I went it was completely empty and very peaceful.
Great jumping off point for cape arago & sunset bay!
Nice campground - plenty of amenities. Lots of kids and families around. Very close quarters though. Close to the beach and perfect for dogs!
