great for floating

these sites are nice. restrooms and fire pits available but no showers. great place to float on the river but bring water shoes. excellent for big groups!!

columbia river camping

First off, restrooms aren't the best and do watch out for rattle snakes. That aside, this campground is great. plenty of space between campsites and quick access to the Columbia River. There are many places to swim, boat, and fish here. So many stars to see at night and plenty of coyotes yapping in the distance. Great place for friends and family.

beautiful spot easy access to river

Located in Estacada, this is an unrated and wonderful spot along the Clackamas River. camp hosts are super friendly and this makes for ideal camping for anyone. Easy druve in sites that are roomy.

Most sites can easily fit two large tents. River side spots are limited. Flushing toilets and running water here as qell as firewood to purchase. be careful heading down to the river and there are many large boulders to maneuver around. A word of caution, this is a fairly busy campground.

popular and rightly so

One of my favorite places yo camp between Florence and New Port, this is a charming campground with sites that are quiet and feel very private. Nice beach with easy beach access for hiking, biking, beach combing. fire pits provided and the restrooms are decent. always make sure yo bring warm clothes to the coast!

great base camp to explore from

Pacific city offers so much especially if you are into 4wheeling and dune climbing. perfect for the entire family and plenty places to explore whether it's hiking or beachcombing as well. fire pits, toilets and decent showers available here. also sell firewood. the Wi-Fi is spotty so if you need it, you're going to need to go into town. no sewer hookups for RVs.

great on the fly

great place to stay if you're passing through on a road trip. with staff that work hard tl keep the playground for kids safe, restrooms clean, and campsites tidy, this is a decent little KOA! Close to the town of Redmond if you need any supplies. surprisingly great for wildlife filming!

gorgeous campground in national forest

fantastic campground that feels secluded and is away from the crowds. short walk to Clackamas lake. not ideal to swim in but an absolutely beautiful lake to observe. It's best to reserve in advance as its a smaller campground that experiences a lot of overflow from the other surrounding lakes (timothy, frog, etc)

beautiful as always

excellent area to camp at and explore. opal pools are too far and there are many trails to hike the in surrounding area. restrooms and fire pits here but no showers. dog friendly 🐶

near waterfalls

between Tumalo Falls and Benham Falls area, this is wonderful dispersed campground has great access to the river. no power hookups or on site water.

great last minute camping

roomy, cheap, clean campsites. excellent last minute camping and amazing hosts. can get full quickly.amazing stargazing at night lots of coyote yipping in the distance.

best camping on the coast

Located in Florence, Oregon, this campground is perfect for anyone who is looking for coastal camping, dune hiking, boating, crabbing, or to ride atvs. The best time of year is August, but do prepare yourself and your family for a bit of a crowd. A nice little dune lagoon, lake cleawox sits at the entrance of the park campground and is a great place to relax during the day.

Be sure to rent a few sandboards as well but do be careful if you are going to sandboard down the big handyman dune. Not only can falling off sting just a bit, but people are notorious for atving where they shouldn't despite signs

great for young families

very relaxed with an area to fish in, this place is wonderful especially if you are a young family. Plenty of activites and room to run, as well as being close to town. restrooms and cabins available. makes for an excellent wedding venue as well

always a treat

excellent place to camp. newer restroom and sinks and plenty of beach access. make sure you dress for cold weather, even in August it gets cold at night.

beautiful campsite on the river

great for wildlife viewing and perfect campsites along the river. small swimming holes are amazing and the hiking trails in the area are great. restrooms are well kept.

easy drive to river camping

beautiful drive out to lockaby through estacada. especially great for fall camping and fishing. pit toilets and well water

dog friendly!!

hands down one of the best campsites and very dog friendly! walk and drive in sites, firewood is sold here.

easy drive to river camping

beautiful drive out to lockaby through estacada. especially great for fall camping and fishing. pit toilets and well water

great swimming hole

great campsite in a beautiful area. a little close to the road but the restrooms arr nixe and the creek is perfect for both swimming and fishing in areas. no reception. no electrical hookups

small campground

despite how small it is, this isn't too shabby of a spot. only restrooms and fire pits so be ok with not showering or having running water. some excellent spots in crooked creek for rainbow trout

excellent fishing

briefly stayed here while on a road trip. being so close to the Columbia river there is excellent fishing in the area. be on the look out dor rattle snakes. RV accessible in some areas. many places to explore but also remember this is tick country!
