Book in advance!

Although we had to book pretty far In advance this place was awesome! The lake is a little far of a walk but, during the summer, people that visit treat it like a beach and it’s so cool to see so many people on the water and the sand. Definitely will bring rafts next time to tie up and hang out for the day! They also have a lot of water fill up stations and tons of bathrooms!

Forever a favorite!

I will always come back to this campground because it is one in a million! I love having the separation of the campground from the cabins in the upper lot. Being able to explore all over the lake and fish in the creek. The general store is also a plus because I somehow always forget at least one thing and they always manage to have it.

Must come back!

We stopped for the night and had the best experience! We had bathrooms right behind our campsite and a perfect view of the lake from the upper campsites. The best part was absolutely no mosquitoes so we were able to hangout by the campfire all night with no bug spray needed lol. The campsites were pretty close together so we got to listen to a campsites baby crying most of the night but, other than that it was awesome!

Great one night stop spot!

On our way to Montana we stopped here for a first come first serve spot for the night. They had one outhouse bathroom and although it says they have a water fill up station we couldn’t find one. Probably the most amount of mosquitoes I’ve ever seen at a campsite due to the marshy environment around the sites but, still beautiful. Make sure you have lots of bug spray or clothes that cover your arms and legs. Campsite includes a picnic table and fire pit. No bear boxes and no bears. The camp host was extremely nice and had firewood for sale.

The best experience overall!

This is probably one of my new favorite campgrounds! We had spot 119 and had a perfect view of the beautiful mountains behind us and the lake in front. We had beach access down to the beach and got to watch the sunset completely private. They had numerous bathrooms, water fill up stations, and the campsites are very big. They also have really nice metal picnic tables and deep fire pits with a grill rack on it. Get there at 3pm for first come first serve campsites.
