Convenient for visiting but light on comfort

We tent camped here for two nights to visit all the classic Yellowstone sights. Site was relatively flat and had some nice shade in the morning, a fire ring and a bear box. Dry toilets were right next to our site though and did not smell great. Also no showers at this campground although apparently there are shower facilities available near other campgrounds at Yellowstone. Unfortunately there was also a lot of road noise as well, so we needed ear plugs to sleep. Watch out for tent campers temperatures can drop fast at night time even in the summer.

Free clean campsite next to the WY State Fair

Very green and well kept spot to camp with clean toilets and hot showers. Happened upon this place when local WY state fair staff told us their overnight camping lot was full, which was great since this one was free! We tent camped so needed ear plugs for the road noise, but worth it for the convenient location. Currently they have some limitations on when you can camp on the grass due to overnight watering, so tent campers beware.

Green, clean and tidy

Very well organized, friendly host, green and easy to access off the highway even though we got in after dark. We were able to register our campsite the following morning since we got in late. We’re tent camping and thrilled with the clean hot showers. Just had a bit of road noise.
