Great Spot - Easy for 2WD Vehicles

Great spot to dispersed camp on BLM land. If you keep driving the road, there are some secluded areas that have relatively level parking. The road is about what you would expect from a BLM Road which is bumpy and about 25 mph for most cars. in my one night here did not see anyone else pass by and woke up to a great view of the sunrise over the salt lake flats.

Great spot close to Moab

Arrived at night but the road was Easy to find and graded well to be smooth. Drove down a little ways and found a site with a level spot. There is a lot of available places along the road and it was moderately busy while I was here November. It seems like the further you went down the less busy the camping spots were.

There are also plenty of Porta potty‘s scattered along the road where the camping areas were. The one I used was clean and seen maintained. Also had very good signal with AT&T here.

Great spot close to Capitol Reef NP

Arrived here at night and had no problem finding the area. Well-maintained dirt roads and plenty of places to camp. It’s just off the highway so there is a little bit of noise but overall it’s not too bad. Given that is close to the highway it’s very convenient for a quick place to stay overnight.

Most of the sites seem relatively level and there is good AT&T cell reception here. Would recommend for anyone coming through on there way to Capitol reef.

Lots of space, very close to Bryce

Great place to camp overnight if you’re looking for somewhere close to Bryce with a lot of open room. Arrived at night and the roads were in surprisingly good condition all graded with gravel and no large potholes or ruts which made it easy for my 2WD van.

There is a plethora of different campsites to choose from ranging from close to the main road to further back in some turnarounds. I probably only saw about five other people here while driving around and it was very quiet at night.

Great campsite, close to the park

This is a nice small campsite right next to a river very close to Olympic national park. I arrived at night and had a little bit of trouble finding the site but it is immediately before the bridge on the right coming in and dips down into a little bit of a lower area on a dirt road that is about 20 feet long to the landing.

I was driving a Toyota sienna with a 120 inch wheelbase and going over the edge down towards the sites I scraped the bottom of my car so be careful if you have a larger vehicle. There are three-ish sites down in the area next to the creek I would say to you could put a tent at two and maybe if you had a good sleeping pad you could place one on the third. You can hear the water from the site and it is quite peaceful and a great place to stay for the night.

I have AT&T and there was no service at this location, my car has Verizon built-in and it was able to get a good enough service to browse Internet and stream videos. Going to include some pictures and videos with this review that show where the site is and some more details of what is available there.

Great Campground - Lots of Wildlife - No AT&T Service

Great campground with plenty of sites (keep in mind this is October) but I arrived at 7pm and had no problem getting a spot, it was $25 for the night. Bathrooms were clean and flushing toilets were nice. Woke up in the morning to an elk in my campsite eating off some trees, very cool way to be greeted.

One thing to note at this time there was no AT&T service at the campsite so I had to leave the park and drive into the town to the north (about 15 min) to get service.

Great Campground

Spent one night here in a tent site that was slightly off the road. I parked and had to walk about 30 feet to the site which was no big deal and the path was clear. The bathroom was not far away. I did not spent any time in the park the next day but it seems there are many amenities they could keep you busy if you were there for longer.

Great Campsite, Beware of the Train

Great campsite close to the bathrooms for an affordable price. The one thing to know is the train comes by about every hour behind the campsite and blows its horn at the two crossings adjacent to the campsite. This happened through the night and was extremely loud so just know that is there before booking this campground. I have attached a video of the train coming by to this review.

Great Clean Campground - Very Affordable

I’ve had a great one night stay at this campground, everything was clean and the showers had nice hot water. The cell service is not the fastest I’ve ever had but it’s been sufficient for watching videos and loading basic web searches.
