Spent the weekend with my three pups in our pop-up tent. Around a dozen tent pads with fire rings. Depending on the rain will determine if there will be any water in that part of the creek. Plenty of trails both improved and not. Overall a great weekend!
This is another of the parks in Austin that our clubs uses for trail. Since it is a TWPC park, we have to observe the park rules about alcohol and public consumption. Otherwise the level of trails range from paved to where the Alien Predators have travelled.
This is a great start point for all your hiking adventures. There are several other areas in and around this park where you can explore or even do some primitive day camping. Our running club uses this park to start and finish many outings, plenty of facilities to cook, eat, and play.
