Back Bay Luxury

My favorite RV resort. Located in the back bay of Newport Harbor ND has it all. This place is super clean and super accomodating. They have cottages for rent if needed and you can have up to 1 tent on an RV spot. Bike trails for the kids and Balboa Island is just right down the way. Expensive but well worth it.

Lake front camping.

Not sure why we would go to tent camp at Lake Mead in the middle of summer but we did, and we were not the only ones. It was 110 degrees during the day and 85 degrees at night. Quite miserable honestly. Tent sites were spacious and bathrooms were fairly clean. Ideal time to camp here would most likely be early Spring or late Fall.

Fun and Loud

Site can get crowded and loud. Tubing on the river that runs through the site is awesome. Can't beat the price. No toilets or showers. Not far from Palomar Observatory.

AMENITIES, AMENITIES, AND AMENITIES.

Great all around campground. If you are new to tent camping this place is great for getting familiar with your gear before you go out and "rough it". Bathrooms, showers, swimming pools, activities for the kids, general store, etc. A little on the expensive side but you will know where your money went once you have arrived. 15 minutes East of Temecula.
