Great location!

The location makes this campground. Stayed 6 nights as it was so relaxing.

Pros:

  • Right on Lake Michigan
  • Only a 15 min walk from Petoskey downtown

Cons:

  • The sites are quite close together
  • The showers are pretty basic

Would stay here again.

Listen to Lake Superior while you sleep

Stayed 8 nights in late October. This was our second time to the camp and it was as wonderous as the first. The North Country Trail goes right through the camp which was perfect for us. .There are two camps to pick from. We chose camp #1 due to it's proximity to the bridge. The sunsets are spectacular. A must visit if you are willing to drive 30mins on dirt roads.

It's quite deep in the forest

Was planning on staying at Highbank Campground but it was closed. Thankfully had the Dyrt App to see this spot.

It was a great little dispersed camping spot. Brand new vaulted toilet, lake view and deep forest all around. Easy access to North Country Trail.

Loved it!
