All sites were taken up except for one of the new cabins which worked great for us. Spent two nights.
Stayed one night. The site was private and we put up two tents with plenty of room to park a vehicle and still had plenty of space. A short walk to the lake where you can rent SPBs. A quick drive into Dells for groceries. Ghost Ship tour was worth the money paid.
We stayed at site 40 at McCormack Campground of Lake Owyhee State Park. We called a few hours I heard and were told that there were several walk up so it’s available. When we arrived this has not changed. The drive up to the park is very scenic with lots of spots for flyfishing. The campground and the facilities ade clean and the views are beautiful. There is currently fire pit and grill ban but propane and butane cooktops are allowed. The water level it was long but still plenty for a swim. There were several fishing water skiing boats on the lake. Would have gladly stayed a couple more days. The only complaint was that the occupants of trailer sites above had their porch/string/rope lights on still at midnight taking away from the beauty of the night sky.
We staid here one night. Rolled up around 7 and there were three tent sites remaining. We took T4 which was big enough to pitch two tents. Yeah he site was clean and quiet. The facilities clean. Hot water in the shower in the morning. There is a little bit of construction around the pool but it wasn’t active when we were here. The hosts are friendly. Would stay again
