Stayed here for one night and loved it - chanced upon this beautiful location close to White Sands national park. Only problem was that it was super windy when we stayed so had to sleep in the car in the middle of the night! We were unlucky
Super cheap BLM campground - $7 a night! - with beautiful views and hiking. Dump toilets and no showers which is totally fine for a couple of nights, our site had a lovely cover and we had some friendly sheep come to say hi in the morning. Loved it here, the welcome centre was really helpful and friendly
This is a beautiful campground in a unique spot with incredible hike. Great amenities - showers, ice, refrigerator, sink for washing dishes - only downside is that the sites themselves seem a bit crowded in and not all have cover. Some are larger than others and it’s a bit of a pint what you will get. Recommend arriving not too late to see if you can get a good spot, we didn’t have shade so had to go find a nice shady bench away from our site for eating lunch / relaxing after our hike.
Cheap ice for sale at the office, nice park with pretty sites. No complaints
Easy campsite, good amenities, office open until 10:30pm. walk to the beach from your tent! Lots of beautiful birds - ibis, spoonbill, pelicans
