We drove from Sand Flats NP. Since porcupine rim campground was closed, we kept moving til we found this gem! Fairly exposed w a few bushes around, so you more or less have 360 views. A little chilly at night but overall a cozy little spot.

I drove in late last night just for the night, on my way to Denver. It was pretty windy most of the night. I felt comfortable by myself with others around. There are several pull-offa after you see the first one. Fire rings seem to be established already.
