Beautiful little campground between Twin Lakes and Independence Pass. Our site had a large enough space for our oversized ground tent and enough shade to keep cool in the heat of the day. Our site was adjacent to the river which provided a loud background noise that is heaven to sleep to. The views of the peaks surrounding the campground are stunning from nearly every part of the campground , but especially along the edge of the river. The campground was quiet and peaceful, with the sites far enough apart. We had a very restful few days at this campground and it sits near the top of our best-of list .
