Great clean campground with clean free showers. the campground het a nice playground for the kids and spacious spots with hookups. Accessible directly from the park is the Turkey Trail, a 1.5'ish mile hike down the mountain to the river, doable for many age group's. The views of the 'other Grand Canyon' are just breathtakingly beautiful! you must visit this place!

Great central location in deflation to some awesome hikes and close to civilization. Basic goods and alcohol available in the camp store. Nice spacious and clean camp spots. If you come here early in the season there's also plenty of firewood available in the wooded areas all over the campground.

I'd have loved to see free showers on the campground but no complaints otherwise.

This campground is situated tightly between route 1 and the bay but very low laying ground. This campground is perfect, but only with PERFECT weather. One medium rain/thunder storm will turn the tent camping area into a water covered mess! We were in 'spot 45' avoid this area if there's even the slightest chance of rain!

The amenities are great however, free hot showers, close to beach and bay and very friendly volunteer staff.

Will not go tent camping here again and cannot recommend this camp ground for tenters!
