Beautiful

First time dry camping. We were not prepared. But still had a blast biking and hiking trails and park.

Great park!

Super friendly and helpful staff; beautiful beach/tiki/volleyball court/pier. Sites were very decent sized (we have a 35ft tt). Close to lots of beaches and other state parks. Great kayaking, fishing and exploring. We’d stay here again.

Location is amazing

Great view, amazing island hiking, friendliest people, super helpful camp store (groceries, fishing and camping supplies)-they booked us for a 30 amp site instead of 50 but they had adapters available. Beach is more for laying out not swimming but they have a pool. Perfect kayak launch, boat launch/marina, and bridge fishing. Only complaint is how incredibly tight it all is. We had a helluva time maneuvering our 35ft tt into space- had to have four neighbors move their vehicles and lots of help. Landscaping is pretty but trees on each site aren’t really slide out friendly. For a smaller rig, it wouldn’t be a problem. Will definitely stay here again!!

Huge sites!

Huge sites, fire pits, kayaking and trails and nature galore!!

Loved it

Private sites on the water. Lots of nature. Trails to walk, river to kayak/fish, 4 wheeling: amazing!!

Beautiful but a little loud

Beautiful. People are friendly. Easy access pull through. Love the view (watching dolphins play). Near a main road you can gear and across from a VFW blasting music.

Party camp

Beautiful but Loud and raucous. Someone shot a gun and security couldn’t figure out which site it was. Campers from different sites yelling and arguing. No respect for quiet time and no enforcement. Beautiful springs. Kayaking and tubing was great. Lots of wildlife.

Rainy relaxing weekend

We drove straight from the dealership to the campground. Lots of places were booked but it was super easy to get a spot at this park. We arrived after hours but were provided a gate code. Our site was on the water-difficult to back into bc of road obstructions and posts (the only reason I didn’t give it five stars), but beautiful view! Light rain but enjoyed watching the boats on the lake, taking pics of giant iguanas and talking to the squirrels. The other campers were friendly and chatted when we walked around the park. It was the perfect place for our maiden voyage.
