When everything along the north shore was full up, this campground had 25 open sites! They were beautiful and spread out over several big loops. Clean toilettes, accessible boat launch on lake, potable water, trash and recycling area… a total gem!
Quiet campground with feeling of privacy due to sites being wooded and spread out. Access to lake and to rustic pit toilets close by. Good potable water. Easy self check in.
There was no public potable water source, the bathrooms were dingy and ill stocked, the showers were so moldy and stinky and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Campsites close together and no privacy. Small and fellow campers were quiet and it felt safe. Also we checked in online and it was called Voyageurs campground and RV park yet the address took us to Arnold’s and they are the same place.
