These dispersed spots are a good ways outside of Prescott. It’s a nice getaway after being in the busy Sedona area for the past five days. Some mosquitoes were still around but they left me alone after dark. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of trash at the campsite, left by previous occupants.
Nice spot southeast of Albuquerque. At 7200’ it’s quiet and chilly up here. After a 2 hour windy drive down from Santa Fe I found myself here and decided to camp for 2 days.
Nice spot west of Santa Fe. Not very far from town. Warmer than staying in the mountains to the east for sure.
Chilly in mid October visit. Aspens are gorgeous on the drive up. Camping area is part of Ski area parking lot.
It is gorgeous here. It’s early fall and the entire campground is full of these Aspen trees with brilliant turning leaves. There is an excellent view of Mt Wilson and Sunshine Mountain behind the campground as well
Dispersed camped here because goblin valley sp was full. Very quiet other than someone running their generator. Kinda far from route 24.
I dispersed camped here and it was very peaceful and quiet Located a little outside of Escalante, UT
I dispersed camped here in late September and it was absolutely beautiful. Views of Mt. Whitney, perfect camping weather and sleeping temperatures, otherworldly landscapes, what else do you need?
