FLIES UP MY BUTT!!

The campground was very meh, very buggy and muddy must have been bad timing I guess. Some of the spots were decent. But my lord the vault toilers there are bio hazards every single one of them probably had 100+ flies all round inside and coming out of the toilet. Now I’m here for vault toilets I know some flies and etc are expected but it was just mind blowing. Disgusting they need to be cleaned and treated with some Lyme on a consistent basis. Will not be coming back.

Party time if you want

Solid private campground. They run a huge boating operation so it’s hella busy on the weekends. We stayed on the rowdy side in a tent with electric. Quiet time was 12am on the rowdy side they do have family oriented camping on the or other side of the river quiet time 10pm. Was a good time meeting some of the local folk. There is a killer BBQ truck there this summer Billy does one hell of a job. The rest rooms were hit or miss depending on what time of day but that shower water was hot. All in all a fun place to spend some time. Would definitely do the boating thing if I wasn’t passing thru.

Good spot

Nice campground on a lake. Plenty of spots for both RV people and tent. Bathrooms and showers were nice. This is in Ohio and is slightly cheaper that the Jamestown campground down the road in PA.

Lil trashy

Decent camp ground if the grounds were better maintained, lots of trash at all of the sites. We tent camped and the tent pads were ok nothing to brag right home about but functional. Your also nut to butt with all the other sites, talking some are less than 10ft apart. Also there was a mondo dump left in 2 of the toilets at the rest room near our site.

NO LONGER OPEN REMOVE!

This campground is no longer open. They have moved their operations to Florida.

Summer time and the livings easy

Super nice camp ground with rv and tent spots that have tent pads built for them. Easy access to water and clean bathrooms. Park rangers are friendly folk. Lots of crystal hunting in the area. Water is nice a cool. From this campground you can easily launch a kayak or canoe. But there is a boat ramp on the side of the camp ground probably a 5 minute drive or less.
