One of our top 5 places to go

Jekyll Island is very bike and runner friendly. The island is not over developed but still has a few restauants, stores and places tonhave a few drinks. The campground is very shady and has alot of beautiful oak trees. The campsites for campers have power, water and sewage and are all pretty level. the bathrooms are clean and in good locations.

Beautiful, shady and quiet Campground

We camped for two nights in May of 2018 in our Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108DS(21 Ft). We camped in campsite 29. The site and all the sites near us only had power and water, no sewage. Not too big of a deal. The site had a pretty steep back in but had a level pad. Not sure how a larger camper would have leveled. May have been ok. The site was really shady and near the bathrooms. Lake access was through a short trail. We liked the campground because it is pretty cheap, quiet and shady. The better campsites seem to be 1-7. I think some of those have sewage hookup and they are right on the lake with good views.
