Stayed 7 days in #1 from 6/25 to 7/1 with two other RVers and was a romantic peaceful time with our own waterfall and creek running around us. Just a word on getting there- don’t follow the gps onto Kim Miller Rd. Stay on Rt 64 and turn onto 281 past firehouse. Much easier!
Our group stayed in pull throughs #84-85 & #86 with lots of room around us. 84& 85 were extremely private. Great roads for our ebikes around the campsites, but not great on the roots along the Big Ferry Trail. Tough going, but made it to the end and found the still, shell ring and old remains of an earthen works.
We just spent 3 great days on liveoak #109 and partied on the beach side with friends in #72 and #70. The beach has fabulous shells of all types and the surf was roaring- even heard it over at Liveoak! The restrooms are extremely clean and the little town is right next door(bi-lows is convenient) with great restaurants you can walk or bike to. Plan to come back many times!
