Great upgrades

Camp here a couple nights.  The have completely updated. Nice clean bathrooms and sights.

Awsome camp site in the middle of nowhere

I did not camp here yet. I start my hike here. Have to say I can not wait to camp here. It is a bit of a walk down a rode to get here and saw a Father and son taking there stuff down with a hand truck which is a very good idea. So you can either backpack it in or take a wagon to take your stuff in. Nice sites by the river and lots of secluded sites.

Nice place to stay.

So I came right when the office was closing and the park range was so nice to unlock and boot up her computer to get me a site to camp for the night.. I got a site by the lake which was made definitely made for campers and not for tents. Was hard to find a flat site and ended up sleeping on a small incline. I did not check out much of the park since it was dark and I got up early In the morning to hit the smokies but from what I seen the park is very beautiful and I will come back. Also visit the lake a dusk to watch the bats.

Can't say enough

I love it here, Every time we come up from Florida this is where I camp. A good base place to explore everything in north Ga. There is no shower here so be ready for that. But you can not beat this place with veiws and creek running though it and the waterfalls.

Old School Florida

We camp here a few years ago and often come back just to visit. This place has old school Fl all over it. From the Cracker house to the museum where you can view the bones of all the creatures that roam Fl. The Sliver RIver is the clearest water you can see with the head springs being the famous Sliver Springs fl number one tourist attraction before Disney. The sites are clean and up to date.

Get away from it all

So we came here on christmas since are plans fell though. So far this is one of the best sunsets in a campsite so far, You have a 360 veiws of all the prairie. The Florida trail is goes right trough the front. Watch out for the sandhill cranes they like to venture in your site. Also please please be BEAR AWARE.

Been camping here forever.

I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. There is lot of site and a clean shower and bathhouse. Pleanty of places to fish from and make sure you bring your boat or kayak since there is a boat launch. There is good wildlife viewing lots of gators and birds of all kinds. Also the Florida National trail goes right past here so you can also go hiking as well.

A great group camp site

I have camp a couple of times across form this camp site at the group camp. There is a lot of room for tents and a few hook ups for rv. It is a great place for a big group camping, family reunion and stuff like that. The morning views are the best with the fog setting on top of the water. Also the camp site is near The Florida National Trail which is a footpath from the south to the north of FL. There is plenty of places to lauch your kayak or boat. The only bad thing there is not much for resupply or stores around. There is one small store but that's about it. So make sure you have what you need. Have fun camping
