I walked up the road about three miles on the way to the lake because the beginning of the road was way to rough for my van with large rocks about 6 inch diameter. There were lots of people disperse camping on the hilside above Como Road.
Smooth gravel road in. I would not drive in without 4wd. Gorgeous views. Next to NPS boundary pin. Cliff edge fire ring. Nobody around. 5274 feet elevation. No cellular service.
Panoramic views of mountains and terrain. Room for several rigs. Clean site. Nicely spaced trees. No cell service. 5530 ft elevation
Beautiful mountain view, open location a couple of miles off the Notom Bullfrog road. Didn't see a soul. Road is easy going. Near to Pleasant Creek. Rock fire ring. Other sites are dispersed around. Very close to the Capitol Reef National park boundary. 5535 feet elevation. No cell service.
T mobile 5G. Dead fish and algae in the lake- green speckles. The water is green. The picnic tables are partially buried in the sand. The discovery pass including the processing fee was $13. The sites are big and well spaced along the reservoir shoreline. Saw about 3 Pit toilets equally spaced along the shore line. Nice old trees providing shade. Nice breeze to close the day. Can't see any flies.
We have stayed many times and loved it. But now the place had about seven campers. Most sites had reserved stickers on them . The few remaining had signs say check on line. Our cellular service was too weak to check on line sadly. All the best riverfront sites over by the huts said reserved which I believe translates to out of service. There's normally electricity, water and a picnic table at these sites. A fire swept by the boundary of the park and partly through it to the river.
This beautiful park has seen its day.The facilities are tired. The fish cleaning station is closed. The reservoir is very low It's $5 for camping. There are friendly hosts from Washington State. They told Us to park anywhere we wanted. I saw one other camper. It looks like in the past you would park in the parking lot to camp in front of your table and fire ring. T-Mobile offers 2/3 bar LTE signal. There's a forest fire station adjacent to the campground.
Clean sites. Covered picnic tables. Bbq and fire pits. Pit toilets in one circle away from the lake. Near the lake has two flush toilet bathrooms and two high volume showers. Quite a walk from our site
Nice spacing with trees between sites. Partial view. Couple of accessible sites. Garbage, picnic tables, fire ring, bbq, metal roof over tables, clean pit toilets male and female. Couple nice trails over by the historic wood burning ovens. Nice stream meadows to experience
Sweeping view. Dispersed site adjacent to road 19631. Gulley behind with a road. No services. Great 5G AT&T. Rough hill up requires 4wd. Consistent shape. Close to junction down to gulley.
No sign of Wardell Spring.Off hwy 93 Tucked among the shrubs. No sign of the spring. Fire ring. Tree cover. Light highway noise. Space for one vehicle. Good cell service.
Off hwy 93 in Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge. #10 on Upper Pahranagat lake. Tables, grill, steel fire pit. First come first served. Free. Awesome campsite hosts. Hwy noise. Lots of birds. Lots of space around campsites. Dogs need to be on leads
Sunny, windy, near beach and quad trail, birds and critters. Table, shelter, power, water and cement pad. Drive thru. Very knowledgeable gate staff
Rough 2wd road . Fire pit. Very dry. 10 minutes walk to washrooms trailhead pit toilet.. Excellent Verizon 5G service. Sun rises at 7:30 am middle of September Little highway noise
Two picnic tables. Shady trees. No cell signal. Some odd garbage left near the site such as a wheelbarrow, two water tanks and a cut up water calvert. No other garbage on the site.
Close to Road. LTE service. Nice view of mountains.. near Halls Creek trailhead
Luscious green trees in Canyon. Flat area to camp. Easy to get down to spring. Fiberglass tub down there. Birds love it but I wouldn't go in. A little bit of cell service.
Off Burr Road. Campsite with 4 wheel drive access high clearance vehicle. Okay for pets not near the edge of canyon. Little bit of cell service. Little shelter of trees
bullfrog canyon Lookout number 2 campsite off Burr Road. Good cell service. A little higher from the fire ring. Panoramic views down into bullfrog canyon. Rode a little rough and four-wheel drive. Likely required. Panoramic views
Panoramic view about bullfrog canyon. Large sheltered fire ring. Half bars sell signal. Recommend four-wheel drive as road has deteriorated.. be careful with pets as there is 180° drop offs down to the canyon floor.
