Camped here a few times years ago. The creek is cold, but the rock formations create natural pools great for swimming. It a popular spot and fills up fast.
One of the coolest camping experiences we’ve had. Drive down the windy steep road to the riverbank and set up camp wherever you’d like.
Site is first come first served so get there early. Sites have awesome valley views. Vault toilet, fire ring available. Lots of ATV, dirt bike use be prepared for the dust and noise.
Convenient site on Highway 1. Vault toilets, fire rings, water available. Bring firewood there’s none available on site.
Campground right on 101. Big redwoods surround each site. Flushing toilets, hot showers, water available. Next to the South Fork Eel River. Diner with walk up window and General store across the Highway.
