We enjoy thus campground as many sure are either on the water or a good view of the water. Campground is super clean. We will be camping here again as soon as we can.
We pondered taking a canoe out on the lake but maybe next time.

Ft Yargo is located about 45 miles NE of Atlanta in Winder, Ga. We camped there for four nights and while the weather was cold the campground was full. Plenty of things to do here that include bike and hiking trails, boat rentals, mini golf, geocaching and more! Walmart and several restaurants are minutes away should you need them.

This is by far, our favorite campground. It’s spotless, it’s convenient and it’s Disney! One word of warning.. walk your site before backing in especially with big fifth wheels. The site might be tight and you don’t realize it as you pull up. Thank goodness campers are friendly and helpful people and normally jump right in to assist.

We camp here as our midway stop from Atlanta to Orlando. It’s easy to pull right off the interstate, gas up and then pull into the campground. It’s always quiet and super clean!

The campground is a good campground— clean and fairly easy for our big fifth wheel to get in to. Be careful and follow the Campground signs and not your GPS because you might come in a different way and have to navigate an overpass that, for done rigs, is too short! Comfort stations are clean and sites are nice! Geocaching also available.

We really like campgrounds that have a lot of room, space between each site and easy sites to get in to. AH Stephen’s fits that bill! Comfort station was very clean, hosts available if needed and the campground wasn’t overly packed with campers on top of each other.

Easy to get to from Atlanta or South Carolina. Campground has 80 graveled sites that are easy to back into. There is a nice playground, basketball court and pool. Plenty of bathrooms and a laundry facility. Rabun gap is close to a variety of activities including hiking trails, wineries, old country shopping and so much more.
Campground is super clean and the host is available at a moments notice.
