Excellent campground with good sites and close access to the lake. Peaceful and relaxing, clean bathrooms, and polite hosts.

I loved listening to the creek here, and watching the wildlife that frequently came to the ford. Very nice little campground for peace and quiet away from the bustle of the main campgrounds in the park, but it is primitive. Vault toilets, no showers.

Campground has basically no shade. Good level pads and medium sized sites. Showers at the general store are way above average for campgrounds.

Lots of ants, and see again no shade… come prepared for desert!

Spacious and comfortable, not overly busy. WiFi available at the general store, but it’s usually very busy so not as useful as you might like. Was able to get cell service also at general store, and nearby at the village and on Bright Angel Trail. Showers clean and functional, laundry machines available.

Nearby to stunning views, conveniences, and short drives from amazing overlooks. Well worth the stay.

Not all parking areas are level but there are nicely level tent pads. Quiet and shady, with lots of wildlife.
