Nice stop, Great Staff

Stopped in while traveling to visit Redwood National/State Park. Great friendly staff, clean grounds and bathrooms, and hot showers (free). Our site was well maintained, but there were no grates on the fire pits to cook on. The camp has a garden that they told us to help ourselves to (not sure if it’s like that all year or because growing season is over). Camp store has what you need. Heard they have a great barbecue and live music in the summer, may need to go back. Camp has WiFi, but it was slow (for me anyway). We did travel during the off season so there were plenty of sites. I would recommend making reservations during summer, especially when barbecue and live music is going on.

What a Gem

My wife and I stopped by this gem of a campground while doing a quick getaway. I have never been to a campground so clean. The grounds, the sites, and bathrooms were so clean and well kept. The camp hosts were great, polite, helpful, and attentive. The campground has trails throughout, and has beach access. We were able to catch the sunset. We did travel during the off season, so sites were available, I’m sure reservations are required during peak season. This will be a stop in the future.

Great Campsite

Stayed at Klipchuck Campsite on 8/23. Very quiet and clean. Early Winters and Driveway Butte hiking trails are at or near the Campsite. There is also a path to the creek, which is clear and clean,, and peaceful to listen to from your Campsite. On a clear night, which we had, The stars were AMAZING. Will stay again when in the North Cascades
