It's fine, but expensive

Campgrounds nearby were closed, so had to come here. Price for all sites was $72 after tax in 2024. Has electric and water, limited wifi in campground. Took site 31. Sites were close together but luckily no neighbors for us. Lake is nice, Lake Crescent is much better if you're looking for a pretty lake to swim. Big Sitka spruce nearby. 31 sites total. Some cabins and whatnot available. Expensive camp store exists.

CLOSED as of July 2-4

Some sort of tree fell so there is tribal involvement I guess? Gatten Creek open but tiny. The campground west of this one was also closed. We ended up paying a ton of money for Rain Forest campground :| Call the lodge or something to find out if it's open yet before you go.

Nice campground, great hosts

Tried for Lost Johnny point but it was full. Lid Creek had two open spots on a Friday of July 4 weekend- we were thankful. Got site 23. No water, no electric, generators allowed and at least 6 were going in the morning. Vault toilets but VERY clean. Hosts very helpful and available. Some sites like 13-17 were slanted somewhat. 23 was deep and pretty even. Lake is very nice, decent temp for us. Preferred Lost Johnny Point from last time we stayed, but this was a very nice second. 30 minute drive to road, another 10 to West Glacier. Some limited cell reception on Mint Mobile.

Very convenient, free electric

This location was terrific. Showed up late, got gas, got directions from gas station attendant. Two campgrounds I guess you would call them. It was fourth of July so lots of fireworks coming from campground near buildings. A little road to the back led us to the back lot of sites, probably 8-10 of them, pretty good spacing between them. RV outlets freely available, just hook up and flip the breaker. One breaker controls a large light. Fireworks ended at a reasonable 11pm. Slept well. Felt safe. Thank you very much! Be sure to patronize the restaurant etc.
